812 Craigflower is our first purpose built apartment building, with a mix of homes from a studio to three bedroom. This size of building and mix of homes will make a great little community in a walkable, park-filled neighbourhood on the border of VicWest in Esquimalt. 

The Building

We dreamt this new proposal up with Christine Lintott Architects and landscape architect Biophilia Collective: 10 homes, from studio to three bedrooms, with a small resident and pet park spilling out towards the sidewalk. This building adds a cool, new presence on the street with a connection point where people (and pets) in the building can hang out with each other and chat with neighbours walking by.

Live greener, more comfortably & with lower bills

You don’t see many rental buildings like this — designed from the ground up to reduce energy costs, increase comfort and help tenants live greener. Each home is a corner unit, maximizing natural light and air-flow. We’ve installed heat pumps and energy recovery ventilators which will provide cleaner air, efficient heating AND cooling all year long. We’re building with triple pane windows and layers of insulation that will make these new homes quieter, more comfortable and less expensive to heat and cool.

Live car lite or car free

Victoria is growing and 812 Craigflower is a fantastic location for more homes and for more people who want to live a sustainable car-free or car-lite lifestyle in an amazing community. The area is a short bike ride along protective cycling networks to downtown Victoria and Esquimalt, and it’s well connected to all of the city’s safe cycling routes, great public transit and quiet, walkable streets.

It’s close to plenty of parks, green spaces, the Gorge waterway and a growing number of restaurants and other amenities, including two of Victoria’s best breweries (Driftwood & Lighthouse), and two of the city’s best bakeries (Fry’s & Foi Epi).
